About-Bihar State Overseas Placement Bureau (BSOPB)
The Bihar State Overseas Placement Bureau (BSOPB) is a government agency established to support the recruitment and placement of individuals from Bihar for employment opportunities abroad. The Bureau primarily aims to facilitate international employment for skilled and semi-skilled workers from the state, thereby improving their livelihood and contributing to the socio-economic development of Bihar.
Bihar State Overseas Placement Bureau (BSOPB), registered under the Society Registration Act 1860 was established in the year 2010 by the Government of Bihar. BSOPB has been authorized by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, as a Recruiting Agent (RA) to act as a single window to facilitate and provide support service to workers who intend to go abroad for employment. Further, as BSOPB being a government body the legal proceeding required for emigration is safe and hassle free.
